Cancellation Policy/Additional Fees

Cancellation Notice

Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to any scheduled pet services. This allows us to accommodate other clients and ensure smooth operation of our business. Please note that this cancellation policy is subject to change. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Cancellation Fee

50%

If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total service cost will be charged.

Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule a service without incurring any cancellation fees, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the original scheduled service.

Emergencies/Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. In such cases, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find a suitable solution. Cancellation fees may be waived or reduced at our discretion in genuine emergency situations. 

Same Day Cancellations

FULL

We understand you may decide to stay home from work for a variety of reasons. We ask that you please contact us before 9:00AM for same day cancellations. In fairness to your petsitter, if they arrive for service and you do not need them, you will be responsible for the full charge for the visit.

Multiple Cancellations

If a client frequently cancels or reschedules services, we reserve the right to assess additional fees or refuse future bookings.

Emergency

In the case of a sitter or walker emergency, we reserve the right to adjust a walk or drop-in visit to a pit-stop.

Holidays

$10

Additional charges will be added for any visits on New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and evening visits requested on New Year's Eve.

Do you LOVE animals and have a flexible schedule?

At MUTTch Better, we are continuously growing and always looking for more amazing sitters to join our team! Please read through our job description and if you think it may be right for you, then please fill out the form below. We will be in touch if we have openings available and feel that you'd be a good fit for our team.


Pet sitting is a flexible part time job, and you will be assigned pet sitting jobs within approx. 5 miles from where you live. New pet sitters typically start gradually taking on new clients and helping with requests as they come in. The hours are light to start and build over 1-3 months. Your hours will vary each week depending on the amount of work available and your availability. The job is flexible, close to home, and if you love pets and like being outdoors, you will greatly enjoy this working environment. This job is not for everyone but for the right person, it is very rewarding!


TO QUALIFY


  • Must be a responsible, reliable adult.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Own a smartphone.
  • Own a reliable vehicle.
  • Be able to pass a thorough background check.
  • Be able to at least make a 3-12 month commitment to MUTTch Better.
  • Be available to do mid-day work M-F between 10am-3pm.
  • Be available to do vacation care (between 1-4 visits/day).
  • Be available for occasional weekend requests.
